Ingredients
-
4 at room temperature Egg whites
-
1/2 tsp Cream of tarter
-
1 cup (198g) Granulated sugar
-
1/2 tsp Orange extract
-
2-6 drops Orange food coloring
Directions
I used red and yellow food coloring to make the orange color for my meringue cookies. They look like orange popsicles color and so much fun to try and find the right color. This was one of my favorite summer cookies.

I used a piping bag with a large star tip and piped in a circle with it closed into the middle. Place them about an inch apart on a baking sheet with parchment paper. I did bake both pans at the same time side by side in the oven for 45 minutes. After the 45 minutes turn the oven off and let them sit in the oven for an hour. Store them in an air-tight container. |
